Russia Ready to Restore Cooperation with Africa

PutinLavrovMOSCOW, November 21, 2016 (Buziness Africa) – Russian president Vladimir Putin has reiterated some aspects of Russia's foreign policy agenda with Africa in speech delivered on November 9, when receiving letters of credence from new foreign ambassadors including six from Africa. The six new African ambassadors are from Burundi, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Mali and Somalia.

Korean govt to finance University of Environment at Somanya

Ghana-SKoreaACCRA, Ghana, November 12, 2016 (Daily Graphic) -- The Republic of Korea will soon approve US$100 million to finance the establishment of the University of Environment and Sustainable Development at Somanya in the Eastern Region.

In addition, Korea is working on the expansion of funding facilities to provide more infrastructure projects in Ghana.

Uganda in Talks With Russians Over Nuclear

KAMPALA, Uganda, November 10, 2016 (EABW) — The government has started talks with the Russian Federation to forge away forward that could see Uganda take the next steps towards nuclear power development.

The co-operation between the two countries seeks to position Uganda in acquiring expertise and technology from Russia as well as promoting the co-operation between Russia and Uganda in nuclear power.
